The people in northern California are starting to recover after a 6.0 earthquake. The earthquake struck around 3:20 am and hurt multiple people and buildings. Only three people were in critical condition, one being a child who was caught under a fireplace. Power was out all over and four fires broke out as well. Water lines busted and cellphone towers broke down due to all the pictures being sent out at once. This earthquake is the strongest one to hit this year, and the strongest in California in the last 25 years.

The earthquake was due to the San Andreas fault. Some people are thinking it's due to the Franklin Fault, a crack that was thought to be dormant for 1.6 million years. The faults were moving sideways against each other, causing the earthquake.
